Liquidzigong has released his own custom firmware for PSP-2000 TA088v3 (2000v3) & PSP-3000 models. Really it’s more an add-on as the majority of files that make up this CFW are from 5.03 GEN-C. That said, installation is like this:

1. Install ChickHEN (or MHUSpeed);
2. Install Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-C;
3. Extract the Prometheus 5.03 files to ms0:/PSP/GAME;
4. Start the installer; Follow the on-screen instructions (press X to install).

Now you can run all the latest and greatest 6.20-required titles without the tedious patching.

And for all you PSP-1000 and/or PSP-2000 non-TA088v3 owners, sorry: you still need to patch them ISOs. If that’s you there are tutorials available here and here.
