PSP Price To Be Reduced In Europe

PSP Price To Be Reduced In Europe

Let’s face it, although the PSP is a great system its always lingered in the shadows of Nintendo’s DS sales. Recently Sony has decided to take action against this, a 24% price cut! That right, the PSP will now be 24% percent cheaper then its current price in store and on the web. You can’t go wrong with a price cut really; more people will buy your consoles because it’s cheaper, simple.

Unfortunately Sony don’t have much love for the U.S apparently, as this price cut will only be taking place in Europe. As well as this the U.K wont be receiving these price cuts either, this is because of the exchange rate. The currency difference would end up being too much of a price cut for Sony.

For all those using Euros, enjoy your price cut as this handheld is notched down from 169.99 Euros to 129.99. The price cut will apply to all versions of the PSP. Following the cut Sony have said "Along with the entertainment services available to all PSP owners on PlayStation Network, there is no better value portable entertainment system around."

As far as money is concerned I could definitely agree with this statement.
